The Well is a supportive, all-inclusive and friendly part of Truro Methodist Church, run for the community, enabling everyone to be in a safe and welcoming environment. The day is split up into three sessions, music for well being in the morning, Lunch, then various activities during the afternoon, all happening on Thursdays. You are very welcome to come along to all three sessions or just join in with one or two.

The Music for Wellbeing session takes place in the Parlour from 10.30am giving people a chance to get to know each other over a cuppa before the morning activity begins at around 11.15am. We begin the session with some gentle chair exercises, mindfulness, memory games, moving on to singing for the brain, there may even be some drumming. All are welcome to join in, no previous experience necessary as we just enjoy singing for fun.
There is a wonderful lunch served in the Wesley Hall at 12.30pm. This is usually a set menu which includes a hot meal (vegetarian option normally available), pudding and a cuppa. Please do inform someone if you are aware of any food allergies you may have. There is no need to book, just turn up.
We return to the Parlour for the afternoon activities gathering at about 1.45pm to begin at 2pm. This may be, board games, quizzes, storytelling, poetry, chocolate bingo, various crafts, music, ping pong games and more, having some really interesting conversations along the way. Tea and coffee are served at about 3pm ending the day at 3.30pm.

We strive to be all inclusive, friendly and supportive, always happy to welcome folk to any or all the sessions at The Well. There is a fee for each session, but we try to keep the day affordable for all. We look forward to meeting you.
